Tristan Schnader (he/him/his)
Tristan Schnader has a background in environmental conservation and spent years in the conservation NGO world, managing boards of directors for Conservation International (CI) and the Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS). While at CI, he also was the Senior Project Manager for the development of a land degradation monitoring tool and has experience working with cross-institutional teams and international stakeholders. He got his MBA from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business, where he concentrated in sustainable business and finance, as well as non-market strategy and policy. He cares deeply about collaborative growth, team success, and contributing to environmental impact in his work. After business school, Tristan led market strategy and growth for a seed-funded start-up tech company, overseeing processes around user growth, retention, and pricing strategy. His undergraduate degree is from The College of William and Mary, where he received his BA in both Government and Sociology.
Lavanya Yeleswarapu (she/her/hers)
Lavanya Yeleswarapu has over six years of professional experience, specifically working with the US government across its many agencies including U.S Agency of International Development (USAID), US Department of Defense, US Department of State, US Department of Education, Center of Disease Control and Department of Housing and Urban Development. Specifically with USAID projects, she has experience in program management, procurement and supply chain management, grants management, compliance and risk management, financial management, operational support, and business development. Additionally, she has worked with start-ups, both private and non-profit organizations, in developing their strategic plans, building financial management tools and supporting ongoing operations and projects. She has received her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a Sustainable Business Certificate from Georgetown University and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from University of Virginia.
